Detectives from the Violent Crimes Unit are actively investigating a shooting that occurred early Thursday morning. Officers responded to the unit block of Handworth Way in Carney for a shots fired call.
Once on scene around 2:20 a.m., officers located an adult male who had sustained multiple gunshot wounds, he was transported to a local hospital in stable condition.
